Projects Manager At Rwentutu Christian School Projects
Broadway Church, Dunamis Education Society - Sendex and Umoja Operation Compassion Society are looking for capable volunteer persons willing to stay 4 months - 8 months at the Rwentutu Christian School Project, in Kasese, Uganda.
The Project Manager/Director will among many duties:
- assess the needs of the community from a Christian perspective
- supervise development of the integrated projects, which include health center, micro credit program for mothers, water project, agricultural project, Christian radio broadcast
- draw up budget plans for each integrated project in relationship with the school
- work with local staff do draw up local financial management
- oversee the use of donated funds
- mentor existing staff in administrative work
- plan a child sponsorship program for needy kids within the school enrolment
- oversee and supervise the installation of power either using solar or generator electricity
- submit update reports to be shared by Broadway church, Dunamis and Umoja Operation Compassion Society
- lead bible study if need be with help of local staff
- work with short term mission teams who will visit from time to time
Rwentutu Christian School:
- seeks to ultimately transform the local community into a thriving society embracing Christian values, and helping the community fight against poverty, religious ignorance and disease
- will grow from elementary school to secondary school and ultimately to an institution of higher learning
- plans to run Christian seminars, retreats and conferences when the school is not in session
