The school aims to provide outstanidng education and care of children from the Zandspruit Informal Settlement community on the outskirts of the sprawling metropolis of Johannesburg, South Africa. The school was started in 1986 in a garage by a group of concerned Christian people desiring to provide educational support to children spending their time of the streets.
