By November 2009 funds had been raised for the purchase and installation of two more portable classrooms for the school. These will greatly help the increase enrolment in the 2010 school year of 60 students. The Kindergarten and Grade One classes will double. Volunteer teams worked to complete the portables, paint the outsides with colourful murals and landscape the grounds.
The principal writes: "The work was done by Wilgenhop and Monica Residences at Stellenbosch University in conjunction with Radio Tygerberg. Eagle's Nest school has been totally transformed in one week! The two new Classrooms were partly sponsored by Classsrooms for Africa and built by Cool Maintenance.
Thank You God for your provision. We are amazed!" |
